Event Crowd Freelancers is a marketplace connecting small businesses and freelancers all over the world in a trusted environment where they buy and sell services to each other.

Small and medium sized businesses across the world use our site to outsource services, from small one-off projects worth less than £100 to on-going contract work.

Businesses use our site to remain flexible and efficient, scaling their business up or down as and when they need to without the overhead and cost of traditional Employment.

Our site is FREE to Employers (‘Clients’) – we charge a small service fee to those who win work only on success.

Service providers (‘Freelancers’) on Event Crowd Freelancers come in many varieties and skills, from self-employed professionals, incorporated businesses or simply people who work around their Job to supplement their income and explore other talents they are passionate about.

What jobs are allowed on Event Crowd Freelancers

Any genuine Jobs in the categories listed on the site are allowed, as long there is genuine work available for someone to complete that will be paid either on as a fixed contract or on an hourly basis. Base + Result Fee Jobs are allowed, but please see the guidelines below to ensure that your Job is accepted.

Is there a fee to post?

No. Posting jobs is completely FREE! You can optionally choose to feature your job for a small fee, but the basic listing remains FREE!

What is not allowed?

We screen all Jobs to ensure that we maintain a high quality of listings on the site. The following are not allowed and will be rejected or removed from the site (please use common sense as this list cannot be exhaustive):

  • Any listings that offer/looking for a joint venture, partnership or if the remuneration is solely in terms of equity (i.e. shares, options etc).

  • Any listings containing contact details (e.g. email, telephone number) or any company details that can be used to contact the person posting the Job or any instructions on how to apply for the Job other than the bidding system. URLs will be allowed only if they are directly related to the Job and necessary to facilitate bidding but it is up to our discretion to remove any URLs that do not meet this condition.

  • Any listings that offer remuneration in other forms other than money (e.g. exchange of services etc)

  • Any Base + Result Fee Jobs/projects that do not detail clearly what the commission structure is and how the person doing the work will be rewarded

  • Any other performance-related remuneration which is deemed to be non-realistic, not clear or

  • Any listings advertising or looking for anything illegal

  • Any listings that are defamatory or discriminatory in any way

  • Any listings that use foul/offensive language or content

  • Any listings that are simply advertising a service or website and prompting users to visit the website, instead of offering genuine work that will be remunerated

  • Any listings that are offering unrealistic remuneration (either too high or too low) or asking for unrealistic results (e.g. I need a computer program to predict the lottery draw)

  • Any listings asking for someone to complete a university or other coursework assignment that is expected to be done by the student alone.

  • Any listings that are not detailing a specific piece of work and/or sound like an attempt to collect freelancer contact details
